  it does, as in real life there is far more drugs (especially 
  marijuana) than what we see in Summer Bay? Do I smell a 
  coverup??

  o'clock timeslot and it's difficult to show full-on drug use 
  when there's young people watching.

<Bree> <|PiL0T|> I am personaly sick and tired of H&A 
  scriptwriters, adding unnecassary plots to the show which 
  have a resemblance to real life topics of the day. I am 
  referring the "Pauline Hanson" H&A had at one time, and also 
  the guns issue with Alf and Ailsa. Soapies should be 
  escapism, real life political topics should not be in the 
  script. What is your opinion?
<Bree> Pilot: It is an escapism because half the stuff that 
  happens on Home and Away doesn't really happen in real life. 
  But because the older generation does tend to watch it there 
  is need for topics that interest them.
